![]() ![]() PyRosetta is available for Mac (64-bit OS X v10.5+) and Linux (64-bit Red Hat and 64-bit Ubuntu) platforms in continuous release versions (usually we have a fresh builds available daily). It is not in any shape or form related to the language translation teaching tool by the same name. Rosetta, the application you never knew you had, is gone starting with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, and Sierra all lack it). Rosetta 2 was announced on June 22 at the 2020 Worldwide Developers Conference. Rosetta became an optional download for Mac OS X 10.6, and was no longer supported by Mac OS X 10.7. Rosetta first appeared in October 2005 as part of Mac OS X 10.4.3 to support Intel-based Macs.
